Alex Fulton joined the Local 5 News team as a multiskilled journalist in July 2024.
Alex comes from KWTX in Waco, Texas where he served as a multimedia reporter for two years.
During his time there, he covered multiple cars catching on fire at a pumpkin patch, an explosion at a power plant and a high school that canceled graduation after only five seniors were eligible to graduate. He also investigated how school districts performed on intruder audits conducted by the state.
He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors of journalism from the University of Missouri. He spent about two years working at the NBC affiliate station KOMU as a reporter, producer and anchor.
Alex is originally from Pflugerville, Texas a suburb of Austin. He loved his time in Missouri and is excited to be back in the Midwest where there are actually four seasons!
In his free time Alex enjoys reading, watching movies, trying new restaurants and traveling.
