Meteorologist Bree Sullivan joins the Local 5 Weather team as part of "Good Morning Iowa."
Sullivan has 10 years of experience forecasting Iowa’s weather, most recently for KWWL in Waterloo and before that KCCI. She now comes back home to Local 5 (WOI), the station where she started her career.
An Iowa State University graduate, Sullivan was on the Local 5 Weather team part-time for three years, yet first worked with the team several years before as an intern.
As a proud wife and mom of four boys, Sullivan knows what parents handle each day. No matter the type of weather, she will prepare central Iowans for the bus stop, after-school plans, what to wear to watch the kids’ game and when able to have a night out, she’ll prepare you for the weather then too.
Sullivan has the experience to track the variety of weather Iowa experiences, including the severe storms and potential impacts they bring for our communities.
