ANKENY, Iowa — A Beaverdale restaurant has found its future home, but it comes as the current tenant closes up shop.
Curbin' Cuisine said Monday they will soon be located at 1325 SW Oralabor Rd of Ankeny, near the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) campus.
Curbin' Cuisine's grand opening at the new location will be Tuesday, Jan. 23. But the post does note the opening could be earlier.
"Curbin' Cuisine is growing! On weekends we have to turn people away due to no tables. We need a location with a great lunch presence. Our take out is busy and need a drive through. Beaverdale will always have a special place in our hearts and we cannot thank the patronage of everyone enough. "
Curbin' Cuisine's new building is currently occupied by Ben's Burgers. The burger joint also posted Monday, saying they are closing later this month:
"Well everyone! It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that I am selling Ben's Burgers! I really appreciate everyone’s support over the almost 4 years we have been open! We couldn't have done it without you! The new owners will be changing concepts and will be hoping to open the middle of January! (PLEASE give them your support!) Our last day open will be Friday December 22nd. Again I really appreciate the community of Ankeny support! I will be forever grateful!"
