DES MOINES, Iowa — Fall is flying by, but unless you have a DeLorean time machine, we'll just keep chugging along. Luckily, there are plenty of events happening around the Des Moines metro to make this season a memorable one.
Local 5 rounded up five events happening this weekend, including "Back to the Future: The Musical", to help you live in the moment this weekend.

Hockey fans have two chances to catch the Des Moines Buccaneers in action this weekend. The team will play at home, first against Cedar Rapids and then against Dubuque. On Friday, fans are urged to wear their college gear for College Night, and current college students can show a student ID to receive a discount on your tickets.
Saturday is First Responders Night; bring in a badge or proof of employment for a discount.

Hispanic Heritage Month may be over, but there's nothing stopping you from honoring the Latino community all year long. This event will celebrate LatinX and Afro-Caribbean artists, and feature commissions by renowned choreographers Katlyn Addison and Mariana Oliveira.
Plus, see a live performance by Columbian musician Juan Sebastian Ramirez Espinosa.

Great Scott! Catch this musical adaptation of a beloved film right here in Des Moines. The show centers around Marty McFly, who travels back in time and accidentally changes the course of history.
Featuring songs such as "The Power of Love" and "Johnny B. Goode", this award-winning musical will capture your heart just like the original movie did.

The Fall Craft Market signals the end to Pleasant Hill's farmers' market season, but vendors are going out with a bang. Find traditional farmers' market goodies like eggs, honey and vegetables, or check out holiday decor items and other crafty finds.
With more than 70 vendors, there's truly something for everyone.

Get ready for a spooky shopping experience. Hosted by Repurpose Rising, this market will feature gothic-themed goodies and creative reuse vendors. In addition, attendees can sip on drinks, make crafts and participate in raffles.
