DES MOINES, Iowa — Comedian Matt Rife is bringing his Stay Golden Tour to Des Moines next summer.
The 29-year-old comedian and actor will perform at Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday, June 8.
Rife is known for his massive social media presence, where he's amassed than 39.4 million followers across multiple platforms. His most recent Netflix stand-up special, "Matt Rife: Natural Selection", garnered more than 10.3 million views in its first two weeks.
Rife's current tour sold more than 600,000 tickets in under two days, making it one of the largest comedy tours in two decades.
But Rife's success doesn't stop there. The comedian will release his first book, "Your Mom's Gonna Love Me", this December. In addition, Rife is set to star in the feature film "Rolling Loud" in 2025.
An Ohio native, Rife is no stranger to the Midwest. He even has a tie to Iowa: Rife performed at Funny Bone Comedy Club in West Des Moines in March 2023, where he flirted with an audience member, a mom named Christina, during his crowd work set.
The 10-minute exchange went viral on TikTok, where the video has 8.4 million likes and 59.3 million views. Later, Rife reunited with Christina at Stephens Auditorium in November 2023.
Only time will tell if the two will reunite again when Rife comes to Des Moines.
Tickets for the Des Moines show go on sale Friday, Nov. 22 at 12 p.m. on Hy-VeeTix.com.
