DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Music Coalition has announced the performers bringing the magic to the 2024 80/35 Music Festival.
Rock band OK Go and rapper Killer Mike will headline the festival this year, bringing together music lovers across genres at Des Moines' Water Works Park.
OK Go, known for 2005 hit "Here It Goes Again" and its award-winning music video, has been on the music scene since the turn of the millennium.
Killer Mike is a Grammy-winning rapper lauded for his debut appearance on Outkast's "Big Boi and Dre Present... Outkast" greatest hits album, several critically-acclaimed studio albums and social activism.
In true "Some Call It Sorcery, We Call It Music" fashion, the genres gracing the festival are a witchy brew of variety for Iowa's eclectic listeners.

“80/35 is all about music discovery, community, and the magic that those two things bring to our lives,” said Diana Weishaar, a local musician and Board member of the Des Moines Music Coalition, the local nonprofit that puts on 80/35. “The Des Moines Music Coalition put together a booking team of individuals from all walks of life to continue our tradition of a diverse lineup with a little something for everyone, making it a great opportunity to see a big act you already love, and to discover a few new favorites!”
