Troupe leader Elizabeth Banner started Beewitched Belly Dance back in 2019 with one goal in mind: to inspire and uplift. Since then, they've danced at Renaissance fairs, Ragbrai, Hinterland, the House of Blues, and more. Beewitched Belly Dance is always evolving, learning new skills to impress audiences. That includes incorporating fans, scarves, and even swords into performances!
Unfortunately, the troupe didn't have enough time to show off their range of skills on Iowa Live. But, not to worry, you can find Beewitched Belly Dance's complete performance on the Iowa Live Facebook page.
Catch a free belly dance class at Hull Avenue Tavern this Wednesday, December 20th, at 7:30pm. Banner also offers belly dancing classes for anyone interested in honing their skills. Or, you can always let the experts impress at your next event!
