Pet cat-icatures, face painting, a live auction and more! Support Whiskers TNR by attending the Meow Mixer this Saturday

Mama Morticia and her kittens, Wednesday and Pugsley, aren't available for adoption quite yet. You can help support them and other community cats at the Meow Mixer.

TNR stands for trap, neuter and return, allowing community cats to continue to live their lives without contributing to the population of homeless pets. Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a certified non-profit charity with the mission to offset the cost of spay/neuter for community cats. We also in home foster and adopt out as many felines as we can.

Since the cat rescue began in 2016, its all-volunteer staff has seen to the spay or neuter of more than 1,900 cats in Warren County, with 2024 on pace to be its busiest year yet.

The total expenses that Whiskers TNR had in 2023 was over $118,000

We are a grassroots organization that depends on donations, like those from the Meow Mixer. We want people to be able to have a great time while supporting an even greater cause.

Our annual Meow Mixer is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We come together to celebrate the accomplishments, give thanks to our supporters, and raise money that is used to further our work to improve the lives of the cats in Warren County, Iowa.

This year's Meow Mixer will take place at St. James Celebrations on Nov. 2nd from 5-9pm. We have an all-new lineup of activities for this year, while keeping the favorites like our basket auction and delicious food. Tickets start at $30 and get you a cat-tastic night of fun, including:

Tickets are available here.

We hope you'll join us this year!
