Soldier Creek Winery and Vineyards are nestled among Iowa corn and soybean fields that have been in the Secor Family for over 50 years. The winery is located just south of Soldier Creek, thus the name. The farm has produced many different crops and livestock over the years: corn, soybeans, hogs, chickens, cattle, and now wine grapes!
Our varietal wines are made primarily from Iowa-grown grapes. We strive to craft the best wines for our guests, and have chosen 12 French-American hybrid grape varieties that thrive in our climate. These include 7 reds: Frontenac, St. Croix, Geneva Red, Maréchal Foch, Petite Pearl, Crimson Pearl and Marquette; and 5 whites: Frontenac Gris, Frontenac Blanc, La Crescent, St. Pepin, and Brianna; and two hard ciders, Ghost Pig, made from cider from a local orchard.
We always aim to offer a memorable experience in our tasting room by hosting many events through the year. From weekly live music by local musicians to our Annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt, our customers look forward to spending time at Soldier Creek Winery. This year (2024) Soldier Creek Winery is celebrating 10 years of crafting beautiful Iowa wines and creating amazing memories with all of our friends, join us!
