MADRID — Local 5’s Elias Johnson joined the Boone County Honor Flight on a 2015 trip to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
At the time, Clifford Robinette was 96 years old, the oldest member of the group.
Over the weekend, Robinette was surprised by friends and family, who celebrated his 100th birthday at Swede Point Park in Madrid.
