DES MOINES, Iowa — We start with thanks to the Polk County Health Department for teaming up with Local 5 on our "Coping During Coronavirus" town hall.

Healthcare workers are our heroes right now, and there's a new Facebook group dedicated to showing them appreciation. Daniel shared this picture of signs of gratitude he's creating to thank the people looking out for us. You can find the "Signs of Thanks" group here.

Darien shared these pictures of Kiwi the bird making new friends while avoiding people. Animals don't have to worry about social distancing so this is totally acceptable. Even a kiss from a pug!
