ANKENY, Iowa — Outside Scoop's Ankeny location held a special event Friday where it unveiled a limited flavor that will help raise money for the Salvation Army with $0.50 of each scoop and $1 of each pint sold to be donated to the organization.
Outside Scoop's Ankeny location has made special Christmas time flavors to help raise money for the Salvation Army for the past few years.
The flavor, revealed to be "Rudolph's Favorite Reindeer Food" this year, includes the reindeer's four favorite candies.
Those are Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats and Butterfingers, according to Outside Scoop.
The flavor reveal party also hosted Mr. and Mrs. Claus who were available for children to meet.
Rudolph's Favorite Reindeer Food will be available through the end of December.
