DES MOINES, Iowa — The LEGO Store has officially opened its doors at Jordan Creek Mall.
The company announced plans to build the Iowa location in December of 2023.
The storefront will be next to lululemon and across from Pottery Barn.
"We've been currently driving to Minnesota, Chicago, Kansas City all to get our LEGO and now this will be in our backyard. And we're ready to give them our money," said Ryan Sinnwell of the Iowa Lego Users Group.
With the opening of the Jordan Creek location, LEGO will have a total of 118 stores across the United States. On opening day, an "on-site mystery mural LEGO brick-building activity" will be held, the press release states.
The company also released some promotional offers and details for the 2,142-square-foot store's opening:
