WAUKEE, Iowa — A Waukee business is laying off dozens of workers at the start of 2025.
Iowa's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) system shows that 88 employees at QG Printing II, LLC will be laid off on Jan. 10, 2025. The notice was filed on Thursday, Oct. 24.
Quad/Graphics, the parent company of QG Printing II, LLC, reported its third quarter earnings on Monday with a "realized Net Loss" of $25 million in Q3 of 2024.
Quad/Graphics focuses on "advanced in-home media solutions, retail display and packaging solutions, and omnichannel media solutions," its company website states.
