Des Moines man wins first $150,000 grand prize in new Iowa Lottery game

CLIVE, Iowa — Alberto Romero Romero of Des Moines became the first to win one of the $150,000 grand prizes of Iowa Lottery's new "Money Gift" scratch game on Tuesday, the lottery announced.

Three grand prizes remain for the game.

Romero bought his $10 winning scratcher at Cash Saver located at 1320 E. Euclid Ave. in Des Moines, and claimed his prize at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive.

The Money Gift game is part of its "Cash Prizes are Coming to Town" holiday promotion.
