ANKENY, Iowa — Future firefighters and first responders, get ready: DMACC is hosting a Fire & EMS Career Fair on Thursday, April 6.
The free career fair is open to all and will feature representatives from more than 45 fire departments, ambulance services, health care providers and EMS employers from across Iowa.
At the event, attendees can learn more about full-time, part-time and volunteer roles in fire and EMS.
The goal of the career fair is to encourage attendees to get involved in these "in-demand industries" with "an immediate need for qualified applicants", according to a press release.
The fair will take place in the Building 5 Student Center at the DMACC Ankeny Campus on Thursday from 1-4 p.m.
Free parking is available in Lot M, immediately outside the west entrance of the Building 5 Student Center.
