DES MOINES, Iowa — Print your resume and gather your business cards: The Harkin Institute will host "an inclusive and accessible job fair" this Wednesday, May 10.
The job fair and networking event will take place at the Tom and Ruth Harkin Center (2800 University Avenue in Des Moines) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A variety of employers will attend the event, looking for job seekers with all levels of experience, education and backgrounds.
Job seekers with and without disabilities are encouraged to attend. American Sign Language interpreters will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wal-Mart, Morgan Stanley, Voya Financial, Principal Financial and John Deere Financial are just some of the businesses that will be in attendance.
The event is part of the Harkin Summit on Scaling Disability Driven-Innovation, which is taking place Tuesday and Wednesday.
