DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are investigating a shooting incident Saturday afternoon.
Multiple shots were fired at an individual near the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Jr Parkway. No injuries were reported.
Police say shell casings were recovered and to expect an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the neighborhood.
