Des Moines police: No damage or evidence located at scene of reported shooting

A caller told police a pedestrian fired gunshots at a vehicle near the intersection of East Euclid Avenue and East 26th Street around 6:35 p.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police responded to a possible shooting on the northeast side of the city on Friday evening. 

A caller told police a pedestrian fired gunshots at a vehicle near Wedgewood Apartments on East Euclid Avenue and East 26th Street around 6:35 p.m., the department shared on X, the site formerly known as Twitter. 

Police were unable to locate any casings or damage at the scene, Sgt. Paul Parizek told Local 5. No injuries were reported.
