DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they believe is connected to a shooting that injured two people.
Police say evidence shows 25-year-old Cori Shields is the one who fired the gunshots during the March 24 shooting outside of Pura Social Club on E 5th Street. At the time of the shooting, police believed the shooting was following a dispute at a party.
According to police, Shields is 5'4", 155 pounds with face and neck tattoos.
A 27-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were both in "serious condition" with a gunshot wound. Police say both remain hospitalized.
Police ask anyone with information about Shield's location to call 911, adding there are reward funds available.
