DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police announced they are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting at the 2200 block of Bell Avenue, Des Moines.
Shell casings were found at the scene but there are no reported injuries or damage, authorities said.
DMPD said there does not appear to be any ongoing threat to the neighborhood, but that an increased police presence should be expected as they proceed with their investigation.
