FBI: Central Iowa man wanted for allegedly defrauding investors

51-year-old William Jack Berg is charged with Wire Fraud and Money Laundering.

WAUKEE, Iowa — The FBI is asking the public for help in locating a financial advisor accused of defrauding his clients. 

51-year-old William Jack Berg is charged with Wire Fraud and Money Laundering. A federal warrant was issued for his arrest on Tuesday, March 19.

Berg works as a financial advisor in Waukee and Urbandale. Victims allege they provided Berg with funds for investment, and he then used the money for his personal benefit, leading to the loss of $1.5 million.

Berg most recently resided in the Waukee and Adel areas. The FBI believes he was in the Des Moines metro as recently as Monday, March 25. 

Berg is 5'11" tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
