DES MOINES, Iowa — Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday, Des Moines police announced it had responded to a shooting at the 3700 block of 57th Street that left one individual injured.
The severity of the injury and status of any possible suspect is unknown at this time.
Authorities say the scene is secure, but to expect an increased police presence in the area as the investigation takes place.
