OTTUMWA, Iowa — The Iowa Liquor and Tobacco Store at 1021 East Main in Ottumwa was robbed on June 4, according to the Ottumwa Police Department.
The robbery took place at approximately 11:50 p.m., with the assailant being described as a "skinny male who was tall, wearing a read coat and black pants." The Ottumwa Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the suspect.
The injuries sustained by the clerk working at the time were caused by a weapon that was used during the time of the robbery.
