Urbandale police looking for suspect after hit-and-run involving stolen vehicle

The call came in at 7:44 p.m. on Tuesday after a stolen car ran a stop sign.

URBANDALE, Iowa — At approximately 7:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Urbandale police received a call related to a hit-and-run. 

Urbandale Police Department's Community Relations Officer, Collin Ten-Hakin, told Local 5 that a stolen car hit another car with two people inside after running a stop sign on 70th street. The two people in the vehicle that was struck sustained non life-threatening injuries. 

After the accident, the driver of the stolen car took off on foot, and as of the publishing of this article has not been found.
