HUXLEY – Kids with Spina Bifida were given a day to just be a kid. The Saylorville Dam Snowmobile Club puts on the snowmobile event every year to support the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa.
Every year the Iowa State Snowmobile Association gives over $15,000 to the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa. They have grown to know these kids and families on a first name basis over the years.
When the kids finally get to hop on the snowmobile their eyes light up with joy. That is what keeps this event going year after year.
