DES MOINES, Iowa — Local 5 News is hosting a Personal Care Product Drive on Friday, December 13, 2024. We will be accepting donations at the Kurtz Opportunity Center in Des Moines from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The drive helps to provide students in the Des Moines Public Schools with necessary personal care items. Recommended products to donate include:
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Bar soap
- Ethnic shampoo
- Ethnic conditioner
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
