MONTEZUMA – On Monday, investigators working on the Mollie Tibbetts case announced they had set up a dedicated website to gathering helpful information to find the missing 20-year-old woman from Brooklyn.
The website is called findingmollie.iowa.gov. It’s simple, but investigators hope it’s easy to navigate.
There are five red dots on a map on the main page of the website. It’s not clear the significance of each location on the map, but when you click on it, a window pops up, prompting you to report information to police if you were in or near this area on July 18, the day Mollie was last seen.
More than 1,000 tips have been given to law enforcement, and more than 500 people have been interviewed in this missing persons case.
