IOWA CITY, Iowa — UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued for Ophelia Barton has been canceled after Iowa State Patrol issued an update Tuesday evening saying she has been found safe. The original story is below.

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for Ophelia Barton, a 15-year-old female who is 5-foot tall weighing 80 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a Disney short-sleeve shirt and red shorts at the time of her abduction. She was last seen June 10.
The suspected vehicle is a blue 2014 Jeep Compass with Iowa license plate LIU044 driven by 42-year-old Lindsey Anne White, a white adult female who is 5-foot 3 inches tall and 165 pounds with auburn hair and green eyes.
Police believe they are traveling to the the town of Nichols in Muscatine County, which is around a half-hour southeast of Iowa City.
