INDIANOLA, Iowa — A Booneville man is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 92 Thursday morning in Indianola.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 56-year-old James Cox was driving eastbound on Highway 92 when he made an improper pass and ran a red light near the intersection of Highway 65/69.
He hit another vehicle that had the green light. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
