DES MOINES – A teenage boy shot in the head earlier this week has died.
14 year old Yore Jieng was shot Monday night in front of e-bank in Des Moines. Police said the boy was riding in a car with his sister when the bullet hit him. The Roosevelt High School freshman had been in critical condition since the incident. He died Saturday. Police are considering this a homicide.
This is Des Moines’ 11th homicide this year.
