Carroll police: Missing 86-year-old woman found safe

The woman was located in eastern Colorado and will soon be reunited with her family.

CARROLL, Iowa — UPDATE, March 23: 86-year-old Mary Schroer has been located safe, Carroll police said Saturday.

Schroer was located in eastern Colorado and will soon be reunited with her family. Police say she is safe and in good health.

The Carroll Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing elderly woman who was last seen Sunday. 

Police say 86-year-old Mary Schroer left her residence near the 400 block of Clark Street in Carroll the afternoon of March 17. She never returned home and has not yet contacted her family. 

Schroer is 5 foot 1 inches and weighs approximately 112 pounds. 

Police believe she could be driving a white 2014 Honda Civic with the New Mexico license plate 905SPD. The license plate frame is Green Bay Packers themed.
