MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — An improperly thrown out smoking material is what's behind a house fire in Marshalltown Sunday afternoon, crews said.
First responders were called to the 200 block of West Lincoln Street.
Crews were able to knock it down quickly.
Nobody was reported hurt, and damage is estimated at around $2,000, officials said.
