DES MOINES – Fire fighters from several agencies worked a fire at a Burger King on Euclid Avenue.
Flames were seen shooting from the roof around 4:38 a.m. The general manager of the restaurant said he came to the location before 5 a.m. to open up, turned on the ovens for the day, and then saw flames coming from the roof. Employees were evacuated, and fire crews were called. It looks like the fire started in the kitchen.
Fire crews remained on scene as of 7 a.m. No one was hurt.
