DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Fire Department is on scene of a house fire Tuesday afternoon at 11th Street between Madison and Seneca Avenue following calls of smoke coming from the building.
The fire was reported to DMFD around 3:30 p.m. and firefighters were still on scene at 4:15 p.m.
It is not known at this time if anyone was inside the house during the fire. The fire department told Local 5 the fire weas called in by neighbors with heavy smoke coming from the attic.
No injuries or victims have been reported at this time.
