DES MOINES, Iowa — Both Nina and Jessica Williams have been located in Hammond, Ind., as of 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
An Indiana State Trooper located their vehicle as it was leaving a Hampton Inn, a press release from the Indiana State Police says. The trooper initiated a traffic stop, and allegedly took Jessica into custody without incident. Nina was located in the car, unharmed.
Jessica was detained at Lake County Jail. As of Friday morning, Des Moines police say the extradition process to return her to Iowa is "in progress."
Nina has since been reunited with her custodial guardian.
At this time, no charges have been filed against Jessica. DMPD detectives continue to investigate the incident.

The Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing teen they believe was abducted.
Police say evidence indicates that 14-year-old Nina Williams was taken by her noncustodial mother, 36-year-old Jessica Williams, around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. She was last seen on Creston Avenue.
Nina is Black, has brown hair in a ponytail and was last seen wearing a navy blue jogger suit. Police believe she weighs around 260 pounds and is 5'9". She is also nonverbal and autistic.
Jessica is 5'8" and 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, basketball shorts and brown animal print flip flops.
She may be traveling in a blue Chevrolet Cruze with the Iowa license plate NSG 589.
