Des Moines police: Missing man located in Osceola

65-year-old Jeffrey Drayton has been located safety in Osceola as of 4 p.m., according to an update from the Des Moines Police Department.

DES MOINES, Iowa — 65-year-old Jeffrey Drayton has been located safety in Osceola as of 4 p.m., according to an update from the Des Moines Police Department. 

He is being reunited with his family.

Des Moines police are asking for the public's help in locating a 65-year-old man with medical issues. 

Police say Jeffrey Drayton allegedly left his home near the 800 block of 17th Street overnight on Saturday. 

Drayton is 6'5" and weighs 220 pounds. He drives a 2008 Land Rover LR3 with Iowa plates NEX 150.

Police say he has medical issues that need care and might keep him from finding his way home.
