DMPD: 10-year-old missing child located

DES MOINES, Iowa — UPDATE:

DMPD announced at 8:04 p.m. Thursday that Tyler has been located, is well and has been reunited with his family.

Des Moines police are asking the community for assistance in locating 10-year-old Tyler Johnson who is considered an endangered missing juvenile.

Johnson was reported missing to DMPD at approximately 6:20 p.m. and efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful to this point.

He was reportedly last seen at the 100 block of County line Road wearing a black hoodie, white-collared shirt and blue pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
