ELDORA – An Iowa man is dead after a freak-accident while in California for Marine Corps training.
Cody Haley, a lance corporal from Eldora, Iowa was at Camp Pendleton in California when a tree fell on him during a routine morning work-out.
The incident happened last week and officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
