Ankeny and Waukee are the only cities in the metro that will allow you to set off fireworks this Fourth of July.
If you plan on lighting fireworks this weekend here are a few things to keep in mind: check with your city hall to find out where and when you can shoot off fireworks, make sure it’s supervised and only by an adult, on private property, and be aware of your surroundings.
