IOWA, USA — Does Iowa State Patrol have the best looking cruiser in the country? That's up to you to decide.

Iowa State Patrol is asking Iowans to vote for its photo in the 2024 "Best Looking Cruiser Contest." This is the 11th year the American Association of State Troopers has held the friendly competition.

This year, Iowa State Patrol's photo features a colorful display of the Northern Lights behind a cruiser.

The winner of the "Best Looking Cruiser Award" will be featured on the cover of the AAST's America's Best Looking Cruisers 2025 Wall Calendar. The following 12 runner-ups will be featured throughout the rest of the calendar.

Last year, a Florida State Patrol cruiser won the coveted prize to appear on the cover. Still, Iowa raked in 23,839 votes, securing it a spot in the calendar.

Voting began on Monday, July 15 and will continue through Monday, July 29 at 11 a.m.
