Endangered person advisory issued for 15-year-old missing out of Keokuk, Iowa

According to the Iowa Division Criminal Investigation, Clarissa Young was last known to be with Shawn Carrell.

Officials have issued an endangered person advisory after 15-year-old Clarissa Young was reported missing on Sept. 27.

KEOKUK, Iowa — State and local officials have issued an endangered person advisory for 15-year-old Clarissa Young after she was reported missing out of Lee County, Iowa. 

According to the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation, Clarissa was last known to be with Shawn Carrell. The two may be traveling in a white 1998 Dodge Ram with a red hood with either an Iowa license plate of OCG501 or an Illinois plate 2797815B. 

Clarissa is 5 feet and 4 inches tall and weighs 186 pounds. She has blue eyes and black hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lee County Communications Center at 319-372-1310 or their local law enforcement agency.
