AMES — Matt Campbell signs six year extension deal, smashing all of the rumors that he would be leaving the Cyclones.
Iowa State University’s Director of Athletics tweeted out Monday:
Coach Campbell is in his second year as Iowa State’s head football coach.
The team went 3-9 in his first year and 7-5 this year, and bowl eligible for the first time since 2012.
