HULL, Iowa — One of Iowa's delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives is seeking another term.
Rep. Randy Feenstra, R-Hull, announced Wednesday he is running for reelection. It would be his third term serving as a representative for Iowa's 4th Congressional District.
Feenstra shared the following statement, writing in part:
“I ran for Congress on the promise that I would deliver real, conservative results for our families, farmers, main street businesses, and rural communities. Over the last three years, I’ve introduced legislation to finish the border wall, ban China from buying American farmland, and cut wasteful government spending. I’ve also voted to protect girls’ sports, end Biden’s student-loan bailouts, and provide our veterans with the high-quality healthcare and benefits that they deserve."
Feenstra, a staunch Republican, boasted endorsements from Gov. Kim Reynolds and fellow representatives Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn in his announcement.
Next year's general election is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2024. Feenstra has already filed his 2024 Statement of Candidacy paperwork with the FEC.
"I look forward to earning the vote of every Iowan who wants to get our country back on track and make Joe Biden a one-term president," Feenstra's statement reads.
