UPDATE: Missing child found safe, Polk County Sheriff's Office says

DES MOINES, Iowa — UPDATE, 11:50 a.m.: The missing child has been found safe, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. He is being reunited with his family.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a missing child who was last seen Wednesday night.

Kaden Sergio was reported missing at 4:30 a.m. Thursday. Parents told law enforcement Sergio was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on NW 3rd Court.

Officials say Sergio is 5" tall, weighs 95 lbs. and has brown hair and eyes. 

He is believed to be wearing a light-colored sweatshirt with a "Sebolts" wrestling club logo, unknown colored pants and a backpack, according to a press release.

Officials believe there is no indication of foul play, but are concerned for his safety with the colder temperatures. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 515-286-3333 or their local law enforcement agency.
