Missing Winterset man found dead in Arkansas

25-year-old Joshua Graham-Caskey, who went missing in January, was found dead in Howard County, Ark. on Sunday.

WINTERSET, Iowa — A missing Winterset man has been found dead in Arkansas, according to police.

After 25-year-old Joshua Graham-Caskey went missing in January, authorities attempted to track him with license plate readers, financial transactions and surveillance cameras, but came up empty-handed.

He made a 911 call to the Madison County Sheriff's office the day before. The last known location of Graham-Caskey was at a gas station in Mena, Ark. on Jan. 19.

The Winterset Police Department said Tuesday that the Howard County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas was notified of a vehicle submerged in Gillham Lake. A dive team assisted the sheriff's office in pulling the car out of the water.

The vehicle was a Ford Taurus with an Iowa license plate, the same license plate that belonged to Graham-Caskey's vehicle that had gone missing in January.

Graham-Caskey's body was found inside the vehicle.

The vehicle was found approximately 30 minutes south of where he was last seen in Mena.

According to the Howard County Sheriff's Office, there is no current evidence of foul play.
