KNOXVILLE- A man who ran a stop sign and killed two people was sentenced Wednesday in Marion County.
Keith Hutton pleaded guilty to three counts, including running a stop sign and failure to maintain control.
Hutton was driving his RV last August when he ran a stop sign in Warren County and t-boned a Jeep with four passengers. Two survived, but the crash killed the other two, including 9-year old Eric Fuller and his grandmother, Karla Handy.
At the sentencing, Kimberly Fuller talked about losing her son and mother in the same day., and the impact such a loss has had on the entire family.
Hutton had his license revoked for one year and is fined $4,000. He has 10 days to appeal the sentence. He will serve no jail time.
