Osceola man dies in crash on Highway 34, Iowa State Patrol says

A driver was traveling east when his car crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on.

CLARKE COUNTY, Iowa — One person is dead and another is injured following a head-on collision on Highway 34, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report

91-year-old Jack England was traveling east on Highway 34, west of Osceola, when his car crossed the center line and hit a car traveling west at around 1:35 p.m. Friday. 

England was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second car was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
