PERRY – The adoptive parents of Sabrina Ray are now facing first-degree murder charges, according to court documents filed this week.
Marc and Misty Ray are accused of murdering their 16-year-old adoptive daughter, Sabrina. She was found dead inside her Perry home in May, severely malnourished. Her parents were on vacation at the time.
Marc Ray also is facing sex abuse charges, but they aren’t connected to Sabrina’s death.
Not only are Sabrina’s adoptive parents connected to alleged abuse, but her adoptive brother, cousin, and grandmother are all also in jail, connected to her case. Their trials have been delayed several months, and likely will not begin until 2018.
