DES MOINES – A man is dead after he was found in a parking lot early Saturday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a person down in a parking lot around 1:14 a.m. in the 1000 block of 11th Street. Officers arrived to find a deceased male in the parking lot. This death is being investigated as a homicide. Des Moines Police Department detectives are on scene investigating this incident.
The Des Moines Police Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit is processing the scene for evidence.
